I'm joining Siesta Mama, Beth this week with her memory verse and will be memorizing the same verse from Revelation. Beth commented in her post she chose Revelation 17:14 "because one of the commentators I’m studying, W. Hendriksen, Th.D., who wrote a 1939 classic called More Than Conquerors, says the entire Book of Revelation can be summed up in that one verse." Sounds good to me! Here's my newest memory verse:
"They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings--and with Him will be His called, chosen and faithful followers." Revelation 17:14 (NIV)

MEMORY VERSE
John 10:11
I have been enriched and empowered through memorizing Scripture each week this past year. As another week is upon us, I have selected a Scripture from the book of John, Chapter 10. This entire chapter is about The Shepherd and His Flock.
In my husband, Kirk, and my bedroom, on the wall next to our bed is a picture (above) of The Good Shepherd, OUR Good Shepherd. This picture was in Kirk's bedroom growing up as a child and continues to adorn the walls of his bedroom to this day. My memory verse is in honor of my Jesus, my Good Shepherd and is a reminder that we are His sheep, He is our Shepherd and He laid down His life for us!
My memory verse this week is Jesus speaking,
John 10:11 (NIV)
"I am the good shepherd.
The good shepherd lays down
his life for the sheep."
John 10:11 is for my *20*09* personal challenge
